Orientation Group: A Free session to introduce prospective
clients to our services. Groups are approximately 1 hour long and
we request that individuals arrive ½ hour early to complete some
paperwork. This is currently scheduled one evening in Waverly, and
1 morning and 1 evening in Owego. Call for times.
Intensive Outpatient Program: Three group sessions
per week, 1-2 hours each. Provided evenings in Owego and Waverly.
Individual sessions as needed.
Relaspe Prevention Group: Two group sessions per
week, 1-½ hours each. Provided evenings in Owego and Waverly. Individual
sessions as needed.
Transition Group: One group session per week, 1-½
hours each. Provided evenings in Owego and Waverly. Individual sessions
as needed.
Beginning Treatment Group: One, primarily educational,
session per week, 1 ½ hours each. A 12-session cycle is provided
in Owego and Waverly. This group is generally used for the Abuse
Diagnoses. Provides the opportunity for continued assessment.
Health Education Group: One, 60-minute session weekly.
Provides education Nutrition regarding HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted
Diseases, Hepatitis/Tuberculoses, Tobacco, and Prescription Drugs/Cross
Addiction. A 5-session cycle is provided in Owego.
Adolescent Treatment: We provide a service that can
include one 1 ½ hour group and one individual session per week.
We also expect the adolescent and his or her parents, foster parents
or guardian attend a 1 ½ hours group session for families, every
other week. Treatment is currently provided in Owego, evaluations
in Owego and Waverly.
Codependency Treatment: A 1-½ hour group session
each week with individual sessions scheduled as needed. Group is
currently scheduled in the evening in Owego.
Family Education Sessions: Free educational sessions
for family members/significant others. Currently being scheduled
upon request in Owego.
MICA Beginning Treatment and Relapse Prevention:
Specialty treatment for Mentally Ill Chemical Abuser (MICA). May
take the form of individual and/or group counseling. A mental healthy
counselor and substance abuse counselor co-facilitate the groups.
Forensic Services: Assessment treatment, recommendations
and referral services provided for incarcerated individuals. Substance
Abuse counseling and group activity for eligible incarcerated individuals.
