CCSI is a multi-agency effort to reduce out of home placements
of children with emotional disabilities by creating locally coordinated
systems of care in Tioga County. The focus of the initiative is
to eliminate the duplication of services and to ensure that families
have what they need to maintain their children in their homes and
communities. This is achieved through cooperative interagency planning
and integrated service delivery, individualized care and strength
based approaches to service planning and the inclusion of families
in all levels of decision making.
Parents are an integral part of the decision making team. They are
viewed as the experts on their child and have ownership of the plan.
CCSI is truly a parent professional partnership that encourages
cross system collaboration. It is Tioga County’s invitation to do
“business differently’ for families with children who have been
identified with serious emotional disturbances.
