Team Member of the Half

Last Updated: 1/16/2019

The Tioga County Public Health Department would like to recognize Amy Fancher as the Team Member of the 2nd half for 2018.

Amy has a calm and professional manner, and she has an ability to do her job with finesse. While often behind the scenes, she has clearly made a great impact on our community’s health.

A Windsor, NY native, she got her BA from Binghamton University and went on to get not one, but two, Master’s Degrees from SUNY Cortland. After living and working in various places/ states, Amy’s journey with us began in May of 2016 after wowing us with her impressive resume’ and communication skills.

As a Health Educator, she has had many responsibilities that she has seamlessly carried out. Doing our Facebook posts, maintaining our website, working on our bulletin boards, editing and organizing much of nursing’s Immunization and Lead work plans, and even being a car seat technician are just some of the things Amy does. Her knack for learning new things has been crucial to being our Disease Control lead.

Amy was a 2017 Tioga Leadership graduate. Her healthy lifestyle also conditioned her to complete the 2017 New York City marathon.

Congratulations Amy!
