Tioga County Public Transit, now also known as "RIDE TIOGA", is a service funded by the federal and state transportation funds under the guidance of the NYS Department of Transportation Passenger Transportation Division. The bus service is privately operated by a division of Coach USA Transit Services under contract to Tioga County. In 2002, the Tioga County Legislature asked the County Manager to improve the quality, and service, as well as increasing the ridership for Tioga County Public Transit.
