On April 12, 2018, Tioga County went live with a new and updated website email notification system. This system will significantly improve the speed and reliability of the email notifications that users are subscribed to.
The new notification system operates somewhat differently than the previous system the County has been using. In the old system, users would receive notifications on an ongoing basis, sometimes seeing multiple notices for the same item as it was edited and changed after being uploaded. The new system utilizes a daily "digest" email - a summary of all notifications a user is subscribed to, compiled into a single email, covering a single day. The categories and topics to subscribe to remain unchanged from before.
All existing subscriptions have been retained - there is no need to re-subscribe to notifications. Existing subscriptions have been migrated to the new system and should begin populating emails immediately.
