In accordance with Congressional directives in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has launched the Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides discount of up to $30 a month toward internet service for low-income families, as well as a one-time discount of up to $100 on the purchase of a computer or tablet.
